To all NYSIF employees:

If you received a NY Alert today designating you as essential personnel, please be prepared to report to the White Plains office on Thursday, November 1, 2012, exercising your best judgment regarding travel and weather conditions. If you have not been designated as essential, please note NYSIF offices, facilities, and operations in New York City and on Long Island will be closed Thursday, November 1, 2012.

At this time, all remaining NYSIF offices are open. Please use your best judgment about travel to work depending upon the conditions in your area and guidance from local officials.

We will issue another update as soon as we have additional information. Please continue to monitor the employee hotline for more information. The numbers can be found on the back of your ID badges.
