Government agencies, contractors and other businesses rely on certificates of insurance as proof of workers' compensation coverage. Active NYSIF policyholders and brokers can create certificates of insurance 24/7 without the need to contact NYSIF (you must be a registered NYSIF user to create certificates).

You don't need to be registered to validate a certificate, an important feature designed to prevent a significant type of workers' compensation fraud. Enter the policy number, certificate number, validation number (found at bottom of the certificate) and certificate holder zip code to validate a NYSIF certificate.
