Return-to-Work

NYSIF helps you maintain your competitive edge by controlling workers' compensation costs. Establishing a Return-to-Work program is one part of a complete risk management program. Risk management includes accident and fraud prevention, an active safety program, ongoing review of workplace design and process, and proactive claims management.

With a Return-to-Work program, the employer makes a special effort to bring an injured worker back to work in a job that the employee is medically able to sustain. Significant savings can be achieved with a Return-to-Work program by matching the injured employee to appropriate work assignments.
