NYSIF uses Global Case Management (GCM) to manage claims. GCM integrates a team of NYSIF claims professionals under a single case manager to coordinate care for the injured worker from the time the injury is first reported until the claim is resolved. GCM ensures appropriate, quality medical treatment and the timely payments of benefits.

NYSIF includes the claimant, employer and medical provider throughout the claims process to provide the best outcome for the injured worker.
