Prescription Benefits for workers’ compensation claims covered by the New York State Insurance Fund

NYSIF has contracted with pharmacy benefits manager Express Scripts, Inc., to make available the medications workers may receive for their work-related injuries or illnesses. This does not change a worker's right to obtain medication necessary to treat such an illness or injury. It only means the worker may obtain that medication from Express Scripts network pharmacies. To find an Express Scripts network pharmacy in your area:

Express Scripts network pharmacies will bill NYSIF directly, so you will not have to pay out-of-pocket for medication.

Please note that Express Scripts has mail-order service. Instructions for mail-order service can be obtained by calling the Express Scripts Call Center.
