Enabling Compatibility Mode in Internet Explorer 9, 10 and 11

If using Windows 7 or Windows 8, you must set Internet Explorer 9, 10 and 11 to compatibility mode for older NYSIF applications to work correctly. If compatibility mode is not enabled, some functionalities will not work correctly, preventing you from advancing through the application.

To enable compatibility mode:
  1. From Internet Explorer's menu, go to Tools > select “Compatibility View settings.” Note: If you do not see the menu bar, press the Alt key and the menu bar will appear.

    In Internet Explorer, click on Tools, then select Compatibility View settings
  2. Look in the Compatibility View settings dialog box for the field “Add this website.” Enter “” and click the Add button to add it to the Compatibility View list.

    Enter, then click Add button to add to the compatibility view's websites list
  3. After has been added, click “Close” to save your changes.
