Working with NYSIF

Once a claim is filed, NYSIF takes a team approach to minimizing the impact of every work related accident. NYSIF Global Case Management (GCM) uses a team of specialists, led by a claims case manager, to ensure that services are delivered promptly so that the injured worker, when feasible, can return to work as soon as possible. Developing a good working relationship with your NYSIF service team ensures that the impact of all claims will be minimized. The Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) oversees the adjudication of all claims.
