Time Running Out to Apply for Our PPE Credit

More than 4,000 NYSIF policyholders have received our personal protective equipment (PPE) credit to offset the purchase of PPE and other safety items for employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. The credit, announced in August, is available to all active workers’ compensation policyholders.

Our Personal Protective Equipment Premium Credit Program offers a one-time credit of up to 5% of your annual premium (capped at $500) for the purchase of COVID-related safety equipment and materials. Eligible equipment includes masks, goggles, gloves, gowns, hand sanitizer and any other COVID-19 safety-related items.

How to Apply

To apply, policyholders must have an online account at nysif.com and provide their policy number, business name, contact person’s name and total amount of PPE purchases on the credit application webpage.

To qualify, your PPE purchases must have been made on or after March 17, 2020. Receipts must indicate the items purchased and their costs.

Current policyholders can apply now by simply logging into your online account or creating an account here. Just enter the required information and upload your receipts for eligible purchases using our secure upload feature.

Don’t Wait

To date, we have credited hundreds of thousands of dollars to our workers’ comp policyholders for the purchase of qualified PPE.
