Payroll Reporting Automated, Simplified

Our Underwriting team has introduced a new payroll reporting process that will save policyholders time by automating much of electronic payroll reporting.

To simplify the online payroll reporting process and save customers time, we now pre-calculate chargeable payroll. This automatic processing accounts for minimum and maximum payrolls, endorsements, exclusions and more. A chargeable payroll summary displays the results, which allows policyholders to examine and verify payroll information before you submit the report.

“These enhancements will improve our customers’ experience in reporting their payroll, the accuracy of the data submitted, and reduce the need for underwriting intervention,” Director of Underwriting Steve Bell said.

New Forms

Our new online payroll verification form is available for the following class codes:

• Domestic (class codes 0908, 0909, 0912, 0913)
• Farms (class codes 0006, 0007, 0031, 0034)
• Restaurants (class codes 9071, 9072, 9074)
• Buildings class code 9027
• Buildings class code 9028
• General (all remaining eligible class codes)

NYSIF notifies policyholders when payroll reports are due. We hope you choose to use our new electronic process, but a print option is also available.
