Joseph Mullen, Director, PHS Business Operations
NYSIF Executive Director & CEO Eric Madoff announced the appointment of Joseph Mullen as director of Policyholder Services Business Operations.
In this role, Mr. Mullen will oversee NYSIF’s statewide Underwriting, Premium Audit and Field Services operations, along with statewide Policyholder Services business office operations.
Mr. Mullen will work with Director of Claims Services Business Operations Patti Albert to oversee NYSIF business operations throughout the state.
Mr. Mullen previously served as NYSIF director of Administration. More recently, he assumed a broader role in business operations. He has also served as director of Financial Administration. He began his career in 1997 as a NYSIF budget analyst trainee after graduating from SUNY Oneonta, where he studied business economics and accounting. He has an MBA from the College of St. Rose.
“Over the past few years, the Policyholder Services team has made great strides in improving business processes and making it easier for our stakeholders to do business with NYSIF,” Mr. Mullen said. “I look forward to being part of the Policyholder Services team and assisting in our ongoing commitment to provide superior service to all of our customers.”
