Several improvements make it easier for customers to navigate and manage their online accounts.

Online Improvements Make Account Management Easier

NYSIF continues to introduce enhancements to our online systems to make it easier for customers to navigate our screens and manage their online accounts.

When workers’ comp policyholders now login to their accounts they see a new customer home page and find the most important information neatly arranged at the top, with drop-down expandable menus below organized by topic. The inefficient list of links is gone. Policyholders simply click a menu box, and the needed links for that topic appear.

We also made it easier for policyholders with both workers’ compensation and disability benefits insurance to access links for each policy by navigating between drop-down menus for WC Links and DB Links at the top of the page.

New Notification Center

In addition, we’ve implemented a new Notification Center, which will assist policyholders, brokers and safety group managers in managing email notifications for workers’ comp policy documents such as premium bills and info pages. Current audit notifications will not be affected.

In fact, we’ve made it easier for everyone to manage email notifications for themselves and authorized users. Managers and brokers can enroll to receive email notifications when premium bills are issued to policyholders they represent. It’s now easier for them to manage email notifications for other policy documents by selecting notifications by group, document and authorized user.

Go Paperless

On September 5, 2019, NYSIF will no longer mail paper copies of bills to representatives. Also, in September, we plan to launch an expanded notification center for workers’ comp policyholders for paperless billing.
