NYSIF Improves eCERT System and eSignature for Online Quotes
NYSIF is pleased to tell you about two revisions we have implemented to address customer feedback and make the online customer experience better at nysif.com.
You may have noticed that the overall appearance of your nysif.com online account has been updated with a cleaner look and clearer messaging. As part of a larger project to provide consistency across all NYSIF online pages, nysif.com is more organized, making services easier to access and use.
New eCERT Features
Based on suggestions from policyholders and representatives, we’ve modernized the workers’ comp eCertificate system to simplify the search and renewal process. Here's a partial list of new features:
- Provided auto-renewal options to include: do not renew*, renew for one year, or, renew for two years. (*Certificate will not appear in the renewal list.)
- Added a select-all checkbox to renew all certificates on screen (up to 15 at once).
- Expanded certificate search fields include name, address, city, state, zip code, email and Job ID.
- Added options to display results by newest certificate or alphabetically by certificate holder.
- Streamlined the subscription process with confirmation email – including the policyholder name, certificate number, policy number, and certificate end date – which replaces an old multi-step authentication process.
Streamlined eSignature
We know that prospective policyholders have had trouble completing NYSIF’s DocuSign verification process when applying for a workers’ comp policy. We are pleased to tell you that we’ve streamlined that process, making it much simpler for clients to click and sign.
