NYSIF returned over $3 million in premium credits to more than 9,500 policyholders who responded to our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Credit Program in 2020. The New York State Department of Financial Services has increased the employee payroll contribution rate for Paid Family Leave for 2021. It is now 0.511% of an employee’s weekly wage, capped at an annual maximum of $385.34. NYSIF Disability Benefits policyholders may see an increase in estimated PFL premium when your policy renews.
