NYSIF Procurement Opportunities

NYSIF Procurement Guidelines shall apply to all acquisitions entered into by NYSIF and shall be in accordance with New York State and Workers’ Compensation Laws, New York State Procurement Council Guidelines, and/or any other applicable rule, regulation, statute or opinion issued by NYSIF. You can find NYSIF and other New York State procurement opportunities in the New York State Contract Reporter.

Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises

NYSIF encourages the participation of New York State Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) in its procurement projects. NYSIF is committed to achieving the statewide goal of increasing opportunities for M/WBEs and helping these businesses thrive. NYSIF has established an M/WBE participation goal of at least 30 percent for all NYSIF contracts. In addition, NYSIF has instituted an asset management and financial institution strategy to increase use of M/WBE investment and financial services firms.

Helpful forms:

Visit Empire State Development for more information about M/WBE requirements and certification.

Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses

The Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act allows eligible business owners to become certified as New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) to increase their participation in New York State contracting opportunities.

Contact the Office for General Services Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development for more information on SDVOB requirements and certification.
