Richard A. Dollinger, of Monroe County, is a retired member of the New York Court of Claims, where he served as an acting Supreme Court Justice.
Mr. Dollinger is a former member of the New York State Senate from Rochester and served as the Assistant Minority Leader for Floor Operations in the Senate and as the Ranking Member of the Senate Health Committee. He served as a trial lawyer in Rochester for 28 years. He was elected to the Monroe County Legislature and served as a town justice in the Town of Brighton. He serves on the Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics in New York and is a frequent lecturer at the New York State Judicial Institute. He has published dozens of articles on legal, historical, constitutional and political matters throughout New York State.
Mr. Dollinger is a graduate of St. Michael's College at the University of Toronto and a cum laude graduate of the Albany Law School, where he was an editor of the law review.
Term expires December 31, 2026.
