NYSIF Extreme Heat PPE Premium Credit Program

NYSIF is offering a one-time credit to workers’ compensation policyholders for the purchase of
essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extreme heat. Receive 10% credit of annual
premium on the purchase of heat-related PPE, with a maximum reimbursement of $1,000.
This credit is tailored to the high-heat industries of manufacturing, warehousing, construction, and farming, where workers face elevated risks from exposure to extreme
temperatures.

Requirements

To Qualify for NYSIF's Extreme Heat Credit, you must:

  • Have an online account with NYSIF
  • Have 10 or fewer employees
  • Fall within the manufacturing, warehousing, construction, or farming industries
  • Have made a PPE purchase during policy periods starting May 15, 2025 or later
