James Buck, Director of Innovation: Jamie joined NYSIF in October 2023 as NYSIF's Director of Innovation. Prior to joining NYSIF, Jamie spent 20 years as a global financial services executive in the private sector, including senior positions at JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Microsoft. He focused on driving business strategy, digital transformation, and top line growth. Jamie began his career at IBM and IBM Global Financing.
As Director of Innovation, Jamie will work closely with Executive staff to leverage and harness technology to increase efficiencies in all areas of NYSIF business operations. In addition, Jamie will drive relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, key industry advocacy groups and professional organizations.
Jamie received his MBA in Competitive & Organizational Strategy from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester and holds a BS in Marketing from Providence College.
