Alan Angelo, Director of Administration: Al worked in the private sector in logistics and operations for over 20 years before coming to New York State government in 2006. Al has worked for the state for over 17 years and started his career at the Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) as a Contract Management Specialist. He came to NYSIF in 2009 and has worked his way up through the Civil Service system. He has developed an intricate and extensive knowledge of NYSIF operations in areas including, but not limited to procurement, MWBE/SDVOB, property services, administrative support, and the Document Control Center. He is also ensuring the agency meets the Governor’s objectives of sustainability and Net-Zero. Al received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Hudson Valley Community College.
