Andrew Park, Director of Federal Affairs: Andrew joined NYSIF in January 2025 after nearly five years at Americans for Financial Reform where he was most recently an Associate Director leading the organization's policy work on investor protection and financial stability across non-bank financial institutions and capital markets. Prior to that role, Andrew was a financial journalist covering the leveraged finance and securitization industry across multiple publications. Andrew began his career at investment manager Pacific Investment Management Company after also working at the White House Council of Economic Advisers.
As Director of Federal Affairs, Andrew’s portfolio will build and maintain relationships with federal healthcare and financial agencies, think tanks, advocacy organizations, and trade groups. Andrew will also serve as a lead writer on NYSIF’s white papers highlighting the organization’s NYSIF’s market-leading and innovative role in workers’ compensation and disability benefits.
Andrew holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from George Washington University.
