Kenneth Radigan, Chief Risk Officer: Ken joined NYSIF in 2022, bringing nearly 35 years of insurance and risk management expertise to the agency. Ken’s experience includes over 25 years at AIG, including serving as the Chief Risk Officer for Casualty and Global Risk Solutions. Most recently, Ken served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Professional Risk Manager’s International Association, a non-profit professional association with a mission to develop and promote the risk industry. Also the inventor of two US Patents (Nuclear Decommissioning Insurance Financial Product and Method), Ken holds the following certifications: Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Professional Risk Manager (PRM), Associate in Surplus Lines (ASLI), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and FINRA series 6, 63, 66 and 7. A lecturer at Columbia University, Ken is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a BA in mathematics.
As a member of the Executive Management Team, the Chief Risk Officer provides leadership, vision, and direction on risk management activities to support NYSIF’s short and long-term strategic goals. Ken is responsible for overall enterprise risk management, including information security, internal audit, internal controls, and corporate and investment compliance.
