Jessica Silver, Director, Division of Confidential Investigations: Jessica joined NYSIF in 2022 after 11 years at the New York State Office of the Inspector General, where she most recently served as Deputy Inspector General for the New York City Regional Office. In that role, she managed day-to-day operations including investigations of alleged public corruption and welfare/workers’ compensation fraud. She also directed investigative activities and operations, such as undercover and surveillance operations, while advising the Inspector General. Jessica earned a JD at the Hofstra University School of Law and a BA in Sociology from SUNY Buffalo.
As a member of the Executive Management Team, the Director of DCI directs and monitors all Division activities related to the administration and operation of confidential investigations. She also represents NYSIF and acts as a liaison with local, state and federal prosecutors and law enforcement agencies.
