In our continuing effort to allow quicker and easier access to policy documents and to reduce the volume of paper communications, the New York State Insurance Fund will now provide electronic access to policy information pages to all NYSIF workers’ compensation policyholders.
Information pages such as declarations, endorsements, renewals, rebills and audit information will be available to NYSIF policyholders through their NYSIF online account beginning today. Policyholders will be able to view information pages for the previous three years.
Policyholders will continue to receive paper versions of documents. NYSIF is adding a notification feature to alert customers when policy documents are available online, which will be rolled out in the near future. Once the notification feature is added, policyholders will be able to opt out of receiving paper information pages.
Insurance representatives also have electronic access to their clients’ info pages and will continue to receive paper notifications until paper mailings to representatives are discontinued.
