Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises
NYSIF encourages participation by New York State Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) in its procurement projects. NYSIF is committed to achieving the statewide goal of increasing opportunities for M/WBEs and helping these businesses thrive. NYSIF has established an M/WBE participation goal of at least 30 percent for all NYSIF contracts. In addition, NYSIF has instituted an asset management and financial institution strategy to increase use of M/WBE investment and financial services firms.

Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses
The Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act allows eligible business owners to become certified as New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) to increase their participation in New York State contracting opportunities.

Pursuant to Budget Bulletin B-1187, QPSC contracts are available upon request. There are no procurements that fall under the order at this time.
Single source procurements
New York State law allows state agencies to procure goods and services without a formal competitive process in limited circumstances. New York State Finance Law Section 163(10)(b) requires state agencies to post summaries of single source procurement contracts within 30 days after contract award.
